Foxifier – Privacy Policy

In short: your mail stays yours. The fox only watches, and tells no one.

Your mail and passwords

Foxifier only connects to your own mail server(s), encrypted with TLS. Your mail is never sent to the app's maker or to anyone else. Passwords are stored in your Mac's keychain.

Signing in with Microsoft or Google

If you choose to, you sign in through Microsoft's or Google's own sign-in screen. The keys (tokens) you receive stay in your Mac's keychain.

The short survey

If you answer the question under Settings → About, your answer, a random installation number, the app version and the language are sent to uijttewaal.info. No name, email address or IP address. The installation number only makes sure a changed answer isn't counted twice.

Feedback

Only when you send feedback yourself via the Feedback button does what you enter go to the maker: your message, your email address if you'd like a reply, system information about your Mac and the app, and any attachments you choose. It is only used to reply to you and to improve the app.

Plugins you set up yourself

The webhook and Shortcuts plugins only send information about new mail to the address or shortcut you set up yourself. When they're off, nothing is sent.

Purchases

Buying Pro is handled entirely by Apple and the App Store. The maker never sees any payment details.

No ads, no tracking

Foxifier contains no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics. Your statistics (such as the Mailbag), rules and settings stay on your own Mac.

Questions?

Use the Feedback button in the app (Settings → About → Feedback). The fox will take your message to the maker.
